Vinyl floor tiles have are one of the toughest durable forms of flooring available.  They have the ability to bounce back from any pressure applied.  They can come in many designs, styles and colours and can be made to imitate wooden flooring or ceramic tiles.  One of the advantages of vinyl tiles is that they can be cut quite easily to fit into any shape.  Many companies use vinyl as their choice of floor as they can have it specially made to incorporate their company logo.

One of the disadvantages of vinyl is that over time they will fade if exposed to strong sunlight.  For areas that are in constant sunlight, you may want to reconsider choosing to install a vinyl floor.  Another problem which you may encounter with vinyl tiles is that if any heavy furniture is placed on it for long periods of time, it will probably become permanently indented thus restricting any rearranging of furniture.

On the plus side, vinyl tiles can be quite inexpensive.  They are one of the cheaper forms of flooring providing you are not looking for specially made tiles.  Not only are they relatively less expensive than other forms of flooring but they are quite easy to install for those with some DIY experience.  There are versions of floor tiles which come with a peel n’ stick backing making installation a simple job.  Alternatively, you can buy carpet tape to stick down your vinyl tiles.  

For those who wish to give their floors a stylish attractive finish but do not have the budget to stretch to laminate floors or the even more expensive hardwood floors, then vinyl tiles can be the perfect solution.  They can be purchased in a variety of designs, colours and textures and will provide a beautiful style to your floors without breaking the bank.  You can avoid the cost of hiring a professional to come and fit the floor as vinyl tiles can be installed with a small amount of DIY knowledge.
